Training and support

Booking and managing your eHospital training

If you are set to join Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) as a new member of staff you will need to have relevant training in how to use our Epic electronic patient record system to appropriately document and manage the care and safety of our patients. Epic training is routinely booked as part of the QPO and CSSIP programmes. If you are not part of QPO or CSSIP programmes please discuss appropriate Epic training with your new manager so that they can email the eHospital training team to book you onto relevant courses.

If you are already a member of staff at CUH but you are transfering to a new job role at the Trust, or moving to another department, you may need additional Epic training which is suitable for your new role. Masterclasses are also offered to existing staff to further advance knowledge of the Epic system.

Full details about eHospital training can be found on the Trust's intranet site by clicking here (note: you will need to log-in using trust domain credentials if not on a networked Trust PC).

Training rooms and locations

  • In the Trust on level 1 (near the C&D lift block)
  • and offsite at Magog Court training facility (near Babraham Road Park & Ride)
